Scalable Production
Redundant capacity is implemented: parts can be produced in parallel on two or more identical CNC machines or on any CNC with equivalent capabilities. This redundancy supports risk mitigation (machine loss, maintenance, breakdowns) and enables scalable throughput by reallocating work across machines. KL Mechanics maintains flexible process routing, standardized fixturing and interchangeable tooling setups to minimize changeover and ensure reproducible tolerances across machines. With over 30 actively loaded 3- to 5-axis machining centers and multi-tasking lathes, operations can be load-balanced and each feature routed to the optimal machine (best spindle speed/torque, axis configuration, tool magazine capacity, and workholding) to maximize cycle-time efficiency and dimensional consistency. Continuous CAM programming and process control enable rapid capacity increase and consistent quality across the cell.
